The Meriel overbust corset is designed with a luscious full sweetheart plunge at the bust and a sweeping Edwardian hipline, timelessly romantic styling that highlights the curves. Made in a supportive sateen coutil with a lustruous gleam and embellished with French Chantilly lace, arranged in loosely symmetrical flourishes that have a little organic movement. Each one will be slightly different, laid individually to best flatter the curves of different sizes. There are colour options for both coutil and lace, and as usual, we are happy to discuss silk overlays or alterations priced separately. Meriel is intended for a fit range of B-DD busts. For reference, our model Erin is a D/DD and is wearing a 22″ corset.

The Meriel overbust corset is handmade in Wales using high quality materials such as traditional cotton sateen coutil, and embellished with Chantilly lace . We create each corset to your specifications so a dedication to a beautiful finish is assured. We are happy to discuss any customisation you would like to add.

Timescale

As all our corsetry and lingerie is made to your specifications, please allow up to 4 weeks for us to make your garments. If you require us to meet a deadline please get in touch before you place your order.

Suspenders and Garters

Featured in the photos is our latest accessory- double strap suspenders and garters with a double ring front to match. Please note you can buy single ring front garters separately here if you prefer a different suspender style. The double strap suspenders are split on a metal ring at the front and the back suspender is a single strap. These are only available with silver or gold metalwork and hook onto your corset, so they can be removed whenever you like.

Sizing Advice And Construction

The Meriel overbust corset is intended for waist reductions of up to 4″ and can be used for regular waist training, though please be aware that the lace is extremely delicate and will show wear if used under clothing a lot. Please contact us if you’d like something designed especially for this purpose. Our pattern is intended for a best fit range on B-DD cup breasts, though please check your bust circumference too as this will also affect the fit. We generally suggest you buy a corset 6″ smaller than your natural waist size- this accounts for a 4″ waist reduction and a 2″ lacing gap, the chart at the top of the page may help you choose your size but please contact us with any questions you have. We are able to offer customised sizing on these pieces but if you’re looking to perfect the fit at the bust we recommend buying a mock-up fitting separately.

Your corset includes:

• A traditional busk fastening in your choice of black, silver or gold with a sturdy bone to support it (underbusk) which helps to smooth the stomach.
• A minimum of 16 spring and spiral steel bones.
• Finest quality two part eyelets and ribbon lacing.
• Front modesty placket and a boned modesty panel suspended behind the lacing.
• A design cut for comfort, extravagant curves and elegant cinching with styling to help avoid “muffin top”
• Sturdy coutil base and boning channels with Chantilly lace detailing
• A seam free interior for comfort.
• Handmade matching cotton binding.
